OLED's

LCT OLED

 OLEDs are a flat display technology made by placing a series of organic thin films between two conductive surfaces. When a current is applied, light is emitted. Because OLEDs produce their own light, they do not require a power hungry backlight.
 
Some advantages of OLEDs are:
 
  • Ultra-thin, light weight, or flexible.
  • Low power consumption - OLEDs are a better choice for portable devices.
  • Greater brightness - The screens are brighter, and have a wider viewing angle.
  • Better durability - OLEDs are very durable and can operate in a broader temperature range.
